Details

Position- Part shade.
Size- Varied depending on variety. Upright ones are generally around 4-5m tall and 3-4m wide. Weeping ones are anywhere between 50cm and 2m tall.
Foliage- Can include red, orange or green leaved varieties. Loses leaves from late autumn to early spring.
Conditions- Leaves can be easily spoilt by harsh sun or strong wind so sheltered position is preferred, they thrive in well drained, rich soil.
Type- Deciduous.
